JOSEPH EDWARD (JOEY) CAMPSEY II Joseph Edward (Joey) Campsey II, 55, of Quanah, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Quanah. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, in Goodlett Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Hollinshead officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Quanah. He was born Sept. 24, 1958, in Childress, a son of the late Howard Campsey and JoAnn Kerby. Campsey was raised in Quanah and began work at an early age at the family’s service station. He was also employed by Larry Campsey Backhoe Service, by Glen Quisenberry as a combine operator, and also drove a truck for several years. He loved fishing for catfish. Survivors include his mother, JoAnn Campsey of Quanah; a son, Jody Campsey of Iowa Park; a sister, Regina Shelton of Quanah; and a brother, Mike Campsey of Vernon. The family has requested memorials to the American Heart Association or to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
