Emil E. Vodehnal Lifelong county Resident Succumbs Funeral Services were held at the Ord Methodist church Monday for Emil E. Vodehnal, a lifelong Valley county resident who died April 8 at Tuscola, Ill. He was 71 years old. Officiating minister was Rev. Allan Martin. Mrs. Hal Mason was vocalist accompanied by Mrs. Orin Kellison. Pallbearers were: August, Ernest and Edwin Vodehnal, Elmer Lukesh and Lumir Ptacnik. Burial was in Graceland of the Ord City Cemetery with Hastings Pearson in charge of arrangements. Emil Vodehnal was born to Frank and Anna Vodehnal in Custer County, July 1, 1888. He married Tracie Ptacnik in 1908. The couple lived on a farm near Ord until six weeks ago. Mr. Vodehnal and his wife moved to Tuscola to stay with a daughter during his illness. Survivors are: his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Powell of Tuscola, Ill.; one son, E.H. Vodehnal of Brush, Colo; brothers; Frank, V.J. And Henry all of Ord.
