Abilene Reporter-News (TX) - Monday, April 17, 2006 RHINELAND, TEXAS — Alice Christina Schumacher, 88, of Wichita Falls, Texas died Thursday, April 14, 2006 in Texoma Christian Care Center. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2006 at McCauley — Smith Funeral Home in Munday, Texas. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Rhineland, Texas with Father Leo Schloemer officiating. Burial will be in the Saint Joseph's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of McCauley — Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Schumacher was born August 12, 1917 in Electra, Texas. She was married to Ralph George Schumacher on June 2, 1942 in Victoria, Texas. Mr. Schumacher died October 4, 1991. Mrs. Schumacher was a resident of Wichita Falls since 1960 and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace. She was a chef. She retired from M.S.U. in 1985. She was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Alter Society; Catholic Daughters Association of Retarded Citizens & former greeter & Eucharistic minister. Survivors: one son, Tommy Schumacher of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters, Lillie Hipps of Wichita Falls, Texas & Mary Zeissel of Rhineland, Texas; her God Daughter and niece, Mary Ress of Wichita Falls, Texas; Several nieces & nephews.
