Bio

Clarence Vincent Cykala, 81 of El Campo, died on August 2, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1933 in Wharton to the late Robert and Bessie Srubar Cykala. He was a retired electrician in the construction field. He served in the US Army from May 19, 1953 to April 12, 1955 with the rank of PFC. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 918 of El Campo and involved with the Wounded Warriors Program. He is survived by his wife Meta Cykala, daughter Lori Fiedler and husband Steve, son Mark Cykala and wife Katherine all of El Campo, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and brothers Robert Cykala of Ganado and Tommy Cykala of Crosby. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bennie Cykala. The Masonic Lodge 918 will also offer their Masonic Rite followed by Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 251. Honorary pallbearers are Chester and Roberta Boone, George and Mary Gerberman, Wade Newton, Larry and Julie Kotulek, Chris and Linda Calvo, Harlo Atchetee and Herman Smith.
