Opal Luoma Obituary LUOMA, OPAL L. AKIN, 81, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2002 in Sachse, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Delilah Vaughan; her son, Jack McDearmon; sisters, Mary Lois Payne and Lucy Payne; brothers, Joe Akin, Tommy Akin, Pete Akin, Jerry Akin and Bill Akin; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday September 20, 2002. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday September 21, 2002 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Reverend Denny Smith officiating. Interment to follow at 2:00 P.M. in Land of Memory Cemetery, 3434 S. Loop 256, Palestine, Texas. CHARLES W.
