Mary Helen Underwood By Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham Jul 28, 2014 Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Mary Helen Underwood, 88 of Bonham, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, TX. Bro. Brett Castle will officiate; interment will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Underwood passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at The Homestead of Sherman. Mary Helen (Hughes) Underwood was born on April 26, 1926 in Duncan, OK to William T. and Gracie G. (Roberts) Hughes. She married Frank Underwood in February of 1946 in Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on May 10, 1998. Mary was an agent at De Rose Industries, and is of the Baptist faith. Mary Helen Underwood is survived by sons, Roger Underwood and wife Cindy, Larry Underwood and wife Phyllis, Greg Underwood and wife Cindi, Billy Mack Underwood and wife Tena; 8 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. Also preceded in death by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Underwood, Jr., Brad Underwood, James Underwood, Lee Underwood, Dusty Underwood and Michael Underwood. Family visitation will be at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, on Monday, July 28, 2014 starting at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
