Edith Mae Pruett Obituary Services for Edith Mae Pruett, 93, Mabank, were held July 28, 2006, in the Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas with the Rev. James Jacobs officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank. Pruett was born March 18, 1913, in Dallas and died July 25, 2006, in Athens. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip H. Pruett, daughter Linda Buchanan and son Larry G. Pruett. She was a homemaker. Previously of Balch Springs, she had lived in Mabank for the past 11 years and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters Betty Rowell, Arlington; Shirley Foster, Payne Springs; Jo Winters and Mary Carroll, both of Mesquite.
