Lena Faye Williams, age 80, of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 22, 2014. She was born March 27, 1934, in Princeton, Texas, to Robert Elmer and Clemmie Sarah (Gerron) Lawson. Lena grew up in Princeton, where she graduated from Princeton High School in 1952. On July 29, 1952, Lena married C.W. Williams in McKinney, Texas. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching game shows and Country Music TV. Lena was a member of Community North Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Donald Williams of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Brenda Pendleton of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Yandell, Jackie Yandell, Katie Yandell, Whitney Lard, Brandy Dixon, Regina Martinez and Colleen Williams; great-grandchildren, Destiny Hughes and Cassandra Martinez. Lena is preceded in death by her parents Robert Elmer and Clemmie Sarah Lawson; husband, C.W. Williams; son, Wendell Williams; five brothers; three sisters; and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
