Mrs. H.R. (Mildred) Allen, 78, died April 10, 1988 in Waco TX. Services at Rosemound Cemetery by Wilkirson Hatch FH. Mrs. Allen was born in Bruceville TX on Oct 30, 1909, and attended schools in Lorena TX. In 1930 she married H.R. Allen. She retired in 1935 as a saleswoman for Jo-Ed Ladies Dress Shop. Mildred was a Baptist. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. J.L. Hobbs of Decatur AL; sister, Mrs. George (Edith) Stepan of Austin TX; brother, Wilmer Wiley of Bruceville TX; and two grandchildren.
