Mavis Calvert Johnston February 8, 1929 - July 19, 2014 Mrs. Mavis Calvert Johnston, age 85, a native of Cullman, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away July 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by: husband of 58 years Mr. James G Johnston, son James G Johnston lll, daughter-in-law Janet Lynn Johnston. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Sharon Johnston of Fairhope, AL, Lisa (Russell) Hicks of Fairhope, AL. 1 son, Michael (Katherine) Johnston of Fairhope, AL, 6 grandchildren, James G Johnston lV, Patrick Johnston, Andrew Johnston, Caleb Johnston, Thomas Hicks and Kealee Johnston. 4 great grand children, Janet Johnston, Vera Schjott, Luke Johnston and Alex Johnston. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnston will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. from the Mack Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Henry officiating, Interment will follow at the Silverhill Cemetery at Silverhill, AL . There will be a visitation at the Mack Funeral Home for Mrs. Johnston, Monday, July 21, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the Johnston family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
