SHINER - Bonnie Sralla, 45, of Shiner, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at DeTar Hospital in Victoria, Texas. Interment will follow mass at Shiner Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, TX. SHINER - Bonnie Sralla, 45, of Shiner, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at DeTar Hospital in Victoria, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas, and will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July, 19, 2014, at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas, with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at Shiner Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014, at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Shiner, Texas, with Deacon Joe Machacek officiating. Bonnie was born on June 29, 1969 in Shiner, Texas. She was the daughter of Benedict Joseph and Helen Marie (Patek) Matula. She is survived by her father, Ben Matula; four brothers, Joseph (Lisa) Matula of Tomball, Billy Matula of Shiner, Mark (Nancy) Matula of Shiner, and Benedict, Jr. (Frances) of Magnolia; eight sisters, Peggy (Keith) Messamore of Cypress, Jeannie (Marvin) Shimek of Shiner, Helen Rusheon of Cypress, Kathy (Hilbert) Bludau of Victoria, Shirley Heivrichs of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Agnes (Tony) Petrash of Houston, Susan (Michael) Grahmann of Shiner, and Rosemary (James) Slonina of Lynn Haven, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by husband, Roger Sralla; her mother, Helen Marie Matula; and grandparents, John and Christina Matula and Charles and Elizabeth Patek, Sr.
