Bio

Don Fletcher Barnes, age 85 of Lehi, died May 13, 2008 at his home of natural causes. He was born Aug. 14, 1922 in Lehi, Utah, son of Jesse Jerome and Cynthia Elizabeth Jacobs Barnes. He served in World War II in the Air Force and following the war made the military his career. He eventually went to work at Tooele Ordinance Depot where he retired as an electrician. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by two brothers and one sister: Van Barnes, California; Milo Barnes and Meirl Busk, both of Lehi; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Verla DeMine. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Lehi City Cemetery where military honors will be performed by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Published by Wing Mortuary
