Thelma Bessie "Granny" Hutchison Steele November 26, 1918 - March 25, 2016 Thelma Steele, 97, of Cleburne passed away March 25, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born November 26, 1918 in Ft. Worth to James Lecter and Mary Etta McDonald Hutchison. She married J. K. Steele June 13, 1942 in Cleburne and he preceded her in June of 1988. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Mary; seven grand children and several great grand children. Preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Volley Womack and James “Buzzy” Steele; daughter, Annette Kirkland; two brothers, Curtis Hutchison and James Hutchison and two grand daughters, Sandy Steele and Angie Kirkland. Graveside service will be conducted March 29, 2016 in Greenacres Memorial Park.
