Bio

Beulah Esther Padgett was born 22 Nov 1911 to Bertha Leona Tibbets and Enoch Sydney Padgett in Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington, USA. She was their only daughter and the second child. Her father died in Ada, Oklahoma in Oct of 1918 of the Spanish flu, as did 3 of her five brothers. Beulah soon after, travelled with her mother Bertha, and her two remaining brothers, to Hopkins County, Texas to be near Bertha's half-sister, Mattie, and her husband Walter John Gardner. In1931 Beulah married Jay "Carl" Warwick, from Arkansas, who had moved with his family to Collingsworth,Texas, where Beulah and her family, also resided, Beulah and Carl, married there, but soon moved to Dallas, Texas and raised their two boys, Carl and Tom, and adopted niece Donna. Beulah and Carl left Dallas and moved to Houston in the early 60's, and she died there on Easter Sunday 1976. Beulah is greatly missed by her family, and those who knew her; may her kind soul rest in peace.
