Obituary from Wichita Eagle, Monday, August 19, 1991: Viola M. Gooch, 88, retired licensed practical nurse, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1991. Service 10 a.m. Tuesday, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary. Survivors: sons, Wayne E., Donald D., brother, John J. Smith, sister, Mildred Grover, all of Wichita; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
