Bio

Buried in the same family plot section as his daughter Jessie Bolden Simmons, his son Wesley William Bolden and Wesley's wife Lola. His death occurred some time between Jan. 28, 1920 (the date of the 1920 census) and Sept. 28, 1923 (the date his second wife Emma married Lemuel, Jr.). Lemuel's first wife Mary Elizabeth (Young) Bolden died in Texas, near Rockwall (possibly in the Kaufman area) either during or after the birth of their last daughter Jessie who was born Mar. 19, 1908. He married his second wife Emma May (Simmons) Bolden Oct. 8, 1908 in Rockwall, TX. After Lemuel Lewis "Bud" Bolden Sr.'s death, Emma married Sr.'s son (her step son), Lemuel Jr. Sept 8, 1923 in Grayson County, Texas.
