Clinton was the third (and last) child born to, Jehue and Emily Miller. He married, Martha Ann Davis, and had 21 children. He spent his life working as a carpenter, farmer, and blacksmith. When his father passed, he was left $4.59 in the will (A lot of money in those days). I have a copy of his draft record for the Civil War. He was listed for the Confederacy. After retiring, he did help build The William Owsley Building in Burkesville. He died a well respected member of the town. According to church records, he is buried at Ellison Cemetery.
