Gadsden Times, April 13, 1990: Arthur Webster Morris Funeral Saturday 2 p.m. Collier-Butler Chapel for Arthur Webster Morris, 79, who died Thursday, April 12, 1990. Rev. Oscar A. Davis, officiating with burial in Forrest Cemetery. He was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County, member of First Baptist Church, Gadsden, E.K. Hanby Sunday School Class and served as a deacon. Mr. Morris was survived by his wife, Mr. Lula C. Morris; daughter, Mrs. Marilyn M. McCrary, Talladega and one granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Gadsden. Census of 1910 this son was in the household of Arthur Givis Morris enumerated as Daniel W. Morris. Apparently that information was incorrect or the son changed his name to Arthur Webster Morris. Mr. Morris was a brother of Irene called "Winnie" Morris Smith, Bertha Mae Morris Minton, Grover Cleveland Morris, Shannon Henry called Shannon Sam Morris, Pearl Odell Morris Martin Hammond, Eunice Clara Morris Lancaster, Sheltie Glenn Morris and Emma Sarah Morris Smith.
