Pearson was the son of Phillip Cain and Minnie Reasor. He was married to Elizabeth Zinnecker and was a banker. From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery; son of Dr. Phillip L. Cain. Born in Albany, OK., died in Paris, TX. THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 22 Jan 1981. ‘Pearson Reasor Cain, 81, of 374-17th NE, died 16 Jan 1981 in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon 17 Jan in Steele and Thomas Memorial Chapel with Dr. James Semple officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Gardens. Mr. Cain was born in Albany, Okla. on 9 Dec 1899, son of Dr. and Mrs. Phillip L. Cain. He married Elizabeth Zinnecker in Bryan County, Okla. in 1925 [her record has Jan 1924]. Mr. Cain was a World War I veteran having served in the US Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Scottish Rite Dallas Consistory. Mr. Cain had been in the banking business in Paris for the past thirty years, having served as a field representative of the First City National Bank before joining the Paris Bank of Texas in 1968 as a vice-president. He was employed there until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; one son, Dr. Charles Cain of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Nick McCarley of Colbert, Okla. and Mrs. Vera Caldwell of Bennington, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Carl Cain and Nancy Cain, both of Dallas.
