The Corsicana Daily Sun Tuesday, February 15, 1949 Dan Budai Dies Early Tuesday; Rites Wednesday Dan Budai, aged 62 years, native of Hungary, died at his home in Richland early Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held from the Church of the Immaculate Conception here Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. The rites will be conducted by the Very Rev. Monsignor V. Graffeo. Husband of Annie (Szenasi) Budai and son of George Budai and Rosa "Rosie" (Koohety) Budai. Surviving are two sons, Emory and Dan Budai, Jr., both of Richland; six daughters, Mrs. Delbert Cox, Camp Hood; Mrs. Oren B. Brown, Dallas; Mrs. Billy Murphy, Corsicana; Mrs. Edward Lane, Dawson; Mrs. Allen Boone, Fort Worth, and Mrs. Audie Lee Hays, Corsicana; 11 grandchildren, a brother, Steve Budai, Conroe; a sister, Mrs. Frank Szenasi, Holliday, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be O. S. Bryson, A. Y. Kilcrease, J. W. Richards, Earl McDaniel, U. C. Roney, Henry Slate and James Istook. Corley Funeral Home will direct.
