Obit - Mary Ann Juranek Karasek El Campo - Mary Ann Karasek, 47, of El Campo died Friday, Jan. 31 1997. She was born Nov. 21, 1949, in El Campo to Richard and Clara Buzek Juranek of El Campo. She was a bank teller for Commercial State Bank for 13 years and a member of Catholic Daughters of America, former youth leader for S.P.J.S.T. society and a member of St. Philip's Catholic Church. Survivors: husband, Larry Karasek; daughter, Kim Kacal of Dallas; sisters, Helen Juranek and Pat Coffman, both of El campo; and brothers Daniel Juranek and Allen Juranek, both of El Campo. Preceded in death by: first husband Robert Kacal. A wake service will be at 6 p.m. tonight at Triska Funeral Home chapel by the Catholic Daughters of America. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Philip Catholic Church, the Rev. Thu Nguyen and Deacon Jarrel Nohavitza officiating.
