Grand Island Independent April 3, 1988 Sunday pg 9B Richard B. DeMuth, 77, 403 S. Kimball died Friday April 1, at a local hospital. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Robert Chamberlain will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cem. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Livingston Sondermann Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Cathedral. Mr. DeMuth was Born November 11, 1910 at Bellwood the son of Hiller and Josephine Homan Demuth. He moved to Fullerton with his parents where they farmed for 9 years. They later moved to David City. He graduated from David City High School in 1930. In 1934 he married Mabel Sutter at Columbus. They moved to Grand Island in 1945. Where he was employed by Montgomery Wards Company for 29 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. Survivors include his wife, one son Dick of Grand Island, 2 grand children and 2 great grandchildren. G.I. Independent April 6, 1988 Wednesday pg 7 Services for Richard B. DeMuth, 77 of 403 S. Kimball were Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Robert Chamberlain officiating. Burial was in Westlawn Cem. Pallbearers were John Keller, Bob Keller, Dean Martin, Mike Monnington, and Alvin Walters. Livingston Sondermann Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
