Loren Pflaum, 83 June 15, 1915 ~ February 15, 1999 Loren was born to a Nebraska farm family. His parents, Fred and Rosa Pflaum, farmed in Richardson County, Nebraska, near Rulo, Nebraska. In 1940, Loren was 24, and still single, working as a farm laborer for the family.
