Lillian Waits Northern October 13, 1922 - June 18, 2014 Lillian Waits Northern, 91, of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Hillsboro. She was born October 13, 1922 in Malone to Edward and Lydia (Muesse) Klein. On September 21, 1940, she married Cecil L. Northern and he preceded her in death on August 1, 1992. She later married J. B. Waits on January 5, 1994 and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2012. Lillian was an avid fisherman for many years and also enjoyed going to game rooms at Winstar and in Louisiana. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two daughters, Lanelle Willenborg and Mary Frazier; and three sisters, Adline Pilgrim, Elnora Helton, and Margie Hammond. Survivors include her two sons, Richard Northern and Mike Northern; brother, James Klein; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Rev. Joe Bob Boyd officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
