Herald Coaster, February 10, 2005: A funeral Mass for Robert Gene Stavinoha, 64, of Rosenberg, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Beasley. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B. F. Terry Blvd., in Rosenberg with a rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. Robert was born June 1, 1940 in West Columbia to Fred and Rose Valenta Stavinoha. He passed away Feb. 9, 2005 in Houston. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rose Stavinoha; brother, Marvin Stavinoha; and sisters, Shirley Dawson and Virginia Griffith. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joan Stavinoha, of Rosenberg; his daughter Paula Sheffield and her husband, Mike, of Rosenberg; his sister Pat Drymala and her husband, Florian, of Rosenberg; his grandchildren, Cassie and Zach Loessin, Jason and Christy Sheffield, and Jamie Sheffield; and five great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. Pallbearers will include Randy Beck, Bobby J. Beck, Glenn Dawson, Derick Horelica, Jason Hobbs and Daython Meyen.
