According to the 1900 census she was born November 1863 in Bohemia, had been married 16 years, was the mother of eight children, five living, and lived at 115 N 19th street, South Omaha, Nebr. with her first husband John Yelinek, born October 1845 in Bohemia, emigrated to the United States in 1890, a laborer in a packing house, and their five children: John (November 1884 Bohemia), Mary (June 1886 Bohemia), Louis (June 1888 Bohemia), Fannie (February 1895 Nebr.) and Stanley (February 1898 Nebr.).
