Clara Louise Cloud February 18, 1924 - February 17, 2014 Obituary A loving mother and grandmother passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 90. She was a native of Austin, TX and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1947. She belonged to St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. She and her husband were the owners and operators of R.R. Cloud and Company Insurance Adjusters. After their retirement, she was an apartment manager for 27 years. She was a past president and member of the Quota Club for over 50 years. She was a member of Camp Fire for over 10 years and served on the board of directors. Visitation will be held at Ollie Steele Burden Manor Chapel 4240 Essen Lane on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from 11 AM until funeral mass at 12 PM conducted by Father Mike Collins. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Louise Brumley and husband, Frank Lee Brumley; grandson, Kevin Lee Brumley and wife, Rachelle Marie Brumley; great grandson, Connor Lee Brumley, all of Baton Rouge; sister, Mrs. Nancy Crider and husband, Bob Crider of Mason, TX; sister in law, Mrs. Martha Cotton of Austin, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rockwell Cloud; parents, Arthur Napoleon Cotton and Clara Anna Martens Cotton; granddaughter, Aimee Louise Brumley; sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellen C. Herry, Mrs. Frances C. Bradshaw; and brother, Herbert "Pete" E. Cotton. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
