Horace Harold Duck (November 1, 1917 - June 3, 2014) Horace Harold Duck, age 96, a resident of the Crossroads Community of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his residence. He was a retired chemical operator at Reichold Chemical. He was a veteran of World War II having served with he U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kathleen (Wallace) Duck of Crossroads; his children, Frances Janette (John) Durant, Paulette Duck (Charles) Richerson, Harold D. "Skip (Candace) Duck, Benny (Taris) Duck and Byron Duck all of Crossroads; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Durant Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Durant Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Durant Chapel Baptist Church.
