Bio

Alfred Harris Bond, 73-years-of-age, died at the Biloxi hospital last Thursday, after undergoing a major operation. He had been in ill health for several months. Mr. Bond was born in Harrison County, the son of Thomas Alvin and Seleta Rouse Bond, He had lived In Ramsay Springs community nearly all his life and was a member and a deacon of Little Creek Baptist Church, which he help organized In 1909. Funeral services were held Friday, December 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Little Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Earnest Breland in charge. Interment was in Little Creek Cemetery with Dees Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were his nephews, Curtis Hickman, Ezra Head , Gordon Bond, Warren Bond, Esco Bond and Forbus Bond. He Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kizzie Miles Bond,, seven daughters, Mrs. Willie Flurry, Mrs. Herbert Linthicum, Mrs. George Mallette, Mrs. Dee Linthicum, Mrs. Carlyle Shoemake, Mrs. Pauline Campbell, Mrs. Irma Lee Batia and two sons, Hollie T. Bond, Stone County Chancery Clerk and Daulton Bond. Three sisters, Mrs. Miranda Pridgen, Mrs. T. C. Hickman. Mrs. Eran Head and four brothers, L R. Bond, L. S. Bond, L.F. Bond, and Neal Bond.
