Herald Coaster, October 11, 2000: Funeral services for Christine "Tina" Sabrsula of Rosenberg, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Harold Sellers will officiate the services. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., FM 2218 and Highway 59. Christine was born Sept. 15, 1917 in Cameron, and she passed away Oct. 9, 2000 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Sabrsula; and a granddaughter, Candice Barrett Vanover. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Hobizal and her husband, William Albert, and Bettie Vanover and her husband, Julian C.; grandchildren, David Lynn Vanover, Russell Alan Hobizal, Susan Kay Holiday, Michael Wayne Hobizal, and Jon Leslie Vanover; her brothers, Adolph Horelica and his wife, Irene, and Oscar Horelica and his wife, Rose; and a sister, Gertrude Michalak and her husband, Clem. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, (281) 341-8800.
