"Funeral services for Doris Ray Coots, 70, of Zabcikville were held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Ocker Brethren Church, Rev. Ron Winsman officiated. Burial was in Ocker Brethren Cemetery. Mrs. Coots died Monday in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Coots was born March 26, 1944, in Red Ranger to Raymond Joe Marek and Vlasta Louise Marek. She attended Rogers School. She married on December 10, 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of SPJST Lodge #24 and Ocker Brethren Church. She lived in Red Ranger and Zabcikville all of her life. Mrs. Coots was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Marek, and a sister, Louise Zavodny. Survivors include her husband, Virgil; three sons; three daughters; four sisters; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorials may be made to Ocker Brethren Church. Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home." Scanio-Harper Funeral Home .
