Bio

Gilbert married Anna Hultquist in 1897. They farmed near Oakland, NE and had children, Leslie and one that died in infancy. After the death of Anna, Gilbert married Bertha Froid around 1903. They owned a café in Oakland, Nebr. and then moved to a farm near Lyons, NE before 1920. Gilbert and Bertha had children: Harry, Marie, Raymond, John, Grace, Albert, Mrs. Mildred Johnson, Ralph and Harold.
