TEC5 US Army WW II Ernest F. Kolenovsky GALVESTON - Ernest F. Kolenovsky, 85, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006, at Gulf Health Care Center in Galveston. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2006 at Calvary Cemetery, also in Galveston, with Fr. John Bok, O.F.M., Pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Galveston, officiating. Burial will follow services Saturday at the cemetery. Mr. Kolenovsky was born September 16, 1921, in West, Texas. For well of thirty years, he was a merchant seaman, traveling to many ports of call during his tenure. He is a veteran of the United States Army serving his country proudly until such time that he was honorably discharged. Mr. Kolenovsky is preceded in death by his parents, John and Janie Kolenovsky and also three of his brothers, Albin, James and Edward Kolenovsky. He leaves behind one brother, Freddie John Kolenovsky of Pt. Bolivar, Texas, his sister-in-law, Ginger Dee of Galveston, Texas, nieces, nephews and other loving family. He now rests in peace.
