Bio
Harold Henry Bryant, 85, died March 6, 2000. A native of Hughs County, SD, he was born Nov. 9, 1914, to George and Zettie Bryant. He spent the early part of his life in Grand River, Iowa. On February 1, 1935, he was united in marriage to Arleta Mae Munyon. To this union four children were born. Harold and Arleta celebrated 65 years of married life on Feb. 1, 2000. While living in Iowa, Harold farmed. In 1941 he and his family moved to California, where he and Arleta lived for 56 years, before moving to Yerington, NV in 1997. While in California, he worked for Lockheed Corp., during the war, later on was in his own business building and repairing swimming pools. He retired in 1979, moving to Lake Oroville, CA. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and his family. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Glen, Clarence, and John Bryant; and three sisters, Rose Wiley, Esther Wiley, and Cora Stubbs; one grandson, Gene Moreland; also a great-grandson, Jason Queipo. Burial at the Grand River Cemetery in Grand River, Iowa. Graveside services will be held. Mason Valley News, Yerington, Nevada 10 Mar 2000
