Bio

Gladys Bell Baca, 96 died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at the Lassen Community Hospital Annex in Susanville, CA. She was born July 14, 1903, In Tracy, Iowa, and was a resident of Lassen County for the past 47 years. She was a homemaker for 75 years and was a member of the South Lassen Senior Club. She was preceded in death by her husbnd, Albert Baca; sons, Herbert Arthur Wright and Roger Sharp; daughters, Raeden Wright and Virginia Cuthbert; brothers, Warren and Loren Cecil, and sister Grace Shirlaw. Survivors include her daughters, Fern Benavides and Johanne O'Dell, both of Ontario, Ore.; Lorraine Crone of Diagonal, Iowa; Faye Spidel of Forest Grove, Ore.; one son Warren Sharp of Warrenton, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Doyle Community Church in Doyle, CA. Interment followed at the Doyle Cemetery.
