Lillian Irene Carroll Morrison: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Herald & Review (Decatur, IL) - Sunday, May 18, 2014 Deceased Name: Lillian Irene Carroll Morrison SULLIVAN -- Lillian Irene Carroll Morrison, 92, of Sullivan passed away 8:56 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Mason Point, Sullivan. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Mason Point Chapel, Sullivan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Tuesday, at the Mason Point Chapel, Sullivan. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church; 219 S. Lincoln, Bethany IL, 61914. Lillian was born March 23, 1922 in Blue Mound, the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Himstedt) Damery. She married Everett Junior Carroll January 11, 1941 in St. Charles, MO; he preceded her in death June 7, 1991. She later married Lawrence Morrison in July of 1993; he preceded her in death September of 2006. Lillian is survived by her sons, Michael Lee (Martha) Carroll of Bethany and James (Sarah) Carroll of Franklin, IN; sister JoAnn (Joe) Baughman of Decatur. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Linda Sue Hood, one son-in-law, Richard Hood, four brothers and four sisters. Obituary written by family members.
