The (Covington) Kentucky Post - April 2, 1956, p. 4, col. 1 "He Smiled Even in Face of Adversity All around the community the many friends of Clarence McEntyre are shocked at the sudden passing of this friendly and energetic citizen. Mac used to work for The Post; his was the way to smile, smile when things went wrong. No longer than a few weeks ago when he was going about once more after his tussle with a stroke two years ago, he passed out humorous cards to his friends, saying: "Retired. No phone. No number. No business. No money." It was Mac smiling once more in the face of adversity. "Tell all my friends, you saw me," he said. As so often happens, a heart attack came along and took Mac away in a hurry. He will be sadly missed by people of all walks in life. He was a prominent Mason, but he numbered his well-wishers across the whole breadth of northern Kentucky -- and in Cincinnati, too."
