Bio

Iowa Park Herald , 01/03/1963. Service Held for Will C. Hale Funeral service was conducted for Mr. Will C. Hale, 62, in Olney Friday afternoon, Dec. 28. Burial was in Westover Cemetery near Olney. Mr. Hale was found dead in a Mineral Wells motel Wednesday. He was en route to Austin to visit his son and family and had checked into the motel Tuesday night. Mr. Hale resided on North Victoria in Iowa Park for several months, moving here from Wichita Falls. Born in Johnson County, March 18, 1900, he had been a civil service employee at SAFB since 1949 and had served at the base previously. Mr. Hale was working on an Air Training Command course on technical writing at time of death. Surviving are his son Carl of Austin; a granddaughter of Austin; four brothers and one sister.
