Dr. Carl Wilton Hale, 47, had lived in Tallahassee for six years where he was professor of economics at Florida State University. Survived by his wife - Margaret; two daughters - Catherine Hale and Janice Hale; one step-daughter - Cynthia Tuten, one step-son - Christopher Tuten. He was the nephew of Ernest and Whit Hale, Virginia Herring, Max Coalson. He was laid to rest beside his father and mother - W.E. and Jewel Hale. --rec'd from Searchers of Our Past , 25 Dec 2014
