Gladys Eleanor Colledge Thomas 1919 ~ 2007 Gladys Eleanor Colledge Thomas, age 87 of Lehi, peacefully passed away at her home Feb. 27, 2007. She was born in Lehi, UT on October 6, 1919 to John Glen Colledge and Nina Evelyn Andreason Colledge. She married Earl LeGrand Thomas on June 14, 1941, later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 24, 1964. Gladys was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Secretary in the Relief Society and Visiting Teaching Supervisor. She loved going home teaching with Earl. She canned and bottled everything. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed the deer hunt with her family each year, and fishing. She was a representative for the Ensign for five years. She ran high school track, played 1st base for her baseball team, loved needlework and crocheting, and made dishtowels for her family. Her family was her greatest joy and she loved spending time with all of them. Gladys is survived by her husband, Earl; children, Earlene (Craig) Hansen, Lindon; Susan (Perry) Rigby, American Fork; Ed (Geri) Thomas, Lehi; and Jeff (Sharolyn) Thomas, Orem; daughters, and 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Colledge, Genola, and Daryl (Kay) Colledge, Kearns. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Kelli Sunday, and eight siblings. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 1149 N. 300 W. Lehi. Friends and family may call on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
