Alta Izora Weeks, age 93 of Royse City, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Weeks was born May 9, 1920 in Hayworth, Oklahoma, was a seamstress, a member of the Caddo Mills, Church of Christ and is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Weeks, a son, Marvin E. Weeks, 7 brothers and one sister. Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Elton and Dannie Weeks of Reno, Texas, one daughter and son in law, Brenda Sue and David Stone of Caddo Mills, Texas, one sister, Faye Duvore of Idabel, Oklahoma, her grandchildren, DeWayne Weeks of Grapevine, Texas, Connie Hargis of Paris, Texas, Mark Stone of Royse City, Texas, Jason Stone of Caddo Mills, Texas, Leslie Church of Melissa, Texas, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2: 00 P.M., Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Church of Christ, New Boston, Texas with Bro. Patrick Cannon officiating. Interment will be in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb, Texas.
