"Mrs. Josephine Lillian Brown died last night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Kemp, east of Jamesport, where she had lived since the death of her husband, Charles C. Brown, last October. She had been ill many months and was 71 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Brown were Gallatin residents many years. He was in the plumbing business and she was a highly esteemed lady. Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Kemp; Mrs. H. B. Payne of Gallatin; Mrs. C. A. Miller of Kansas City; Mrs. Henry Barber of Lawson; Mrs. Ira Trosper of Roscoe, Calif.; Mrs. Obed Barber of Tarkio; and Mrs. C. O. Morton of St Joseph. She is also survived by several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Gallatin Baptist church conducted by the Rev. R. H. Seabough. Interment will be in Brown cemetery."
