Bio

VICTIM OF FALL IS STILL UNCONSCIOUS Stephen Bateman. the young man who suffered a fractured skull in a fall from a car of the scenic railway at Lagoon at 7:30 p. m. Wednesday, is reported to be in a very critical condition at the Groves L. D. S. hospital. He had not regained consciousness up to an early hour this morning. F. L. Malstrom of Sandy, a friend of the injured man who was with him just previous to the accident, said last night that he knew that Bateman had not been drinking to excess and that while there had been intimations that Bateman was intoxicated, he was confident the reports were without foundation.
