WAHOO DEMOCRAT FRIDAY, JULY 6, 1906 PAGE 8 (Under Valparaiso News) During the high water Saturday night Jos. Sharf Sr. lost his way in crossing the creek west of town, and was drowned. The horse was found farther down the stream and later the body of the man was found near the bridge. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn the loss of husband and father. ∼ Children of Joseph and Anna Scharf
