Bio

Carl Friedrich Schlienz was born 31 Dec 1793 in Friolzheim, Wuerttemberg to Carl Friedrich Schlienz and Christina Dorthea Schwarzmaier. On 2 Feb 1819 he married Christina Ruoefle in Friolzheim. In 1831 Carl emigrated with his family to America and settled in Liverpool Township, Medina County, Ohio. In the 1850s he moved to Henry County, Ohio. In the United States he was also known as ‘Charles'. He died 13 Jul 1871 in Henry County. Church records indicate burial in the church cemetery but no tombstone is visible.
