Bio

Christina Dorthea Schlienz was born 26 Mar 1820 in Friolzheim, Wuerttemberg to Carl Friedrich Schlienz and Christina Ruoefle. In 1831 she emigrated with her parents and siblings to America, settling in Liverpool Township, Medina County, Ohio. On 26 Jan 1839 she married Johann Gottlieb Spieth in Medina County. The family moved to Henry County, Ohio in 1870. Christina died 3 May 1897 in Henry County. Church records indicate burial in the church cemetery but no tombstone is visible.
