Jodie Louis Zmolik II, of Mesquite, Texas was born August 7, 1935 in Ennis, TX and passed away April 28, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doris Parma Zmolik; son, Jodie L. Zmolik and wife, Margie; son, Wesley E. Zmolik and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Kathie L. Hottel and husband, Doug; son, Christopher L. Zmolik and wife, Kathy; son, Donald W. Zmolik and wife, Lisa; daughter, Doris Ann Honza and husband, Jon Paul; son, Michael A. Zmolik; daughter, Michele M. Pope and husband, Bobby; daughter, Julie A. Zmolik and fiancé Danny; thirty-nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Zmolik and Julie Zmolik; siblings, sisters Geraldine Hoskavec and Etheline Sylvester; brother, Luke Zmolik; granddaughter, Chynna Zmolik and great-grandchild, Mary Alice Pope. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 30th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Rosary beginning at 7:00pm, at Divine Mercy of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1585 E. Cartwright Road, Mesquite, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, May 1st at 1:00 pm at Divine Mercy of Our Lord Catholic Church with burial in Ennis, Texas at St. Joseph's Cemetery and gathering at Knights of Columbus afterwards.
