Bio
Dorothy Mae Lough, 90, of Marble Hill, Mo., died Sat., April 26, 2014, at her home. Born in Dallas County, Texas, on Sept. 2, 1923, she was the daughter of Lonnie Edwin and Lola Cleo Norwood Ferrell. During her working years she was employed as a final inspector for Varo Electonic, Inc. in Texas. She moved to Missouri in 2004 to be near her family. She was of the Assemblies of God faith. Survivors include her daughter, Rita Shaffer, of Marble Hill; two sons: Charles Story of Alaska and Herbert Bond of Walke Lake, Nevada; a sister, Mary Osburn of Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Story; three husbands: John Story, Joe Bond, and J.C. Lough; three brothers, and six sisters. Visitation and funeral service will be Thursday, May, 2014, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m and continue until service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery near Bessville, Mo.
