"Rerucha Benedict L. "Ben" Rerucha, 74, Lincoln, died Saturday (03/22/08). Born March 24, 1933 to Thomas W. and Sophie (Rech) Rerucha near Bruno, Neb. Mr. Rerucha graduated from David City High School in 1951 and the National Business Institute in 1958. He was the owner of Industrial Tool & Supply Company. Ben was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Parish Council; Knights of Columbus; Pius Advisory Board; American Legion; and Catholic Workman. Ben served in the Navy during the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. He married Nadine (Sedlacek) on June 6, 1957 in Bruno, Neb. Ben is survived by his wife, Nadine, Lincoln; five children, Diane Fry and husband, Kerry, rural Malcolm; Deb Hile and husband, Dan, Lincoln; Mike Rerucha, Bruno; Lori Clement and husband, Gale, Lincoln; Karen Jones and husband, Ross, Lincoln; two brothers, Albin and Edward Rerucha, Bruno; sisters-in-law, Lucille Rerucha, David City; Mary Lou Rerucha, Omaha; Mary Lou Rerucha, Ralston; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Clarence and Darlene Krenk, Linwood, Neb., 21 grandchildren and one grandchild expected; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ben was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Anton; Richard; and Joseph Rerucha; and niece, Luanne Partusch. Funeral Mass; 10 a.m. Wednesday (03/26/08) at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Msgr. David Hintz will celebrate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday (03/25/08) at Butherus, Maser, & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St., Lincoln.
