Miss Henrietta Mae Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wagner, and John Deines of Harvard, Nebraska were united in marriage at the Zion Evangelical parsonage by Rev. H.C. Hoesch, pastor, at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. The young couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hill and left the same day for Aberdeen, South Dakota where they will make a visit with the bride's relatives. The bride presented a lovely picture, dressed in a taupe satin dress and wearing a small metallic hat and accessories to match. Her traveling costume was a navy blue suit with a black felt hat. Mrs. Deines was born and raised in the Culbertson community, graduating from the local high school in 1926 and one of the community's most popular young ladies. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Deines, who reside on a farm near Harvard, also a brother of Will Deines of this place and has been here off and on for the past three years. The young married couple will make an extended visit at Aberdeen, South Dakota and Harvard, after which they will return to this place and reside on the Wagner farm which Mr. Deines will farm the coming year. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Deines join with The Progress in extending congratulations.
